As a Product Owner - Radar Engine, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining a cutting-edge product suite that maximizes value for our clients. The Radar Engine serves as the core foundation for all other modules, offering a powerful set of features and functionality that empower clients to efficiently load, transform, normalize, and harmonize their commodity data.The Radar Engine encompasses essential components such as an advanced ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) engine, Master Data Management, Mappings, User Rights Security Framework, Native BI Tools, and a variety of other data engagement methods. In this role, you will ensure that these elements work seamlessly together, driving optimal product performance and staying ahead of the market's evolving demands.
What you will do:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Management:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and communicate the product vision and strategy.
- Align the product roadmap with company goals and market trends.
- Backlog Management:
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
- Ensure that the development team has a clear understanding of the product backlog items.
- Feature Definition:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, like Engineering, Sales & Marketing and Customer Success to define detailed requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Clearly articulate user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
- Cross functional Collaboration
- Ensure the organization is up to date about latest product developments (collaboration with Sales & Marketing, Customer Support, Customer Success).
- Train and guide Business and Technical Consultants on how to use the product and provide guidance on their client interactions.
- User-Centric Design:
- Champion a user-centered design approach, ensuring that product features meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
- Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Development Collaboration & User Guidelines:
- Act as the bridge between the product and development teams, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment.
- Providing guidance to development teams throughout the development cycle.
- Be responsible for User Documentation and Training Material.
- Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies.
- Incorporate market insights into product planning and decision-making.
- Customer Feedback:
- Actively gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement based on user insights.
- Sales & Marketing Assistance:
- Provide Sales & Marketing assistance within the Product domain as specialist on demos, sales pitches and marketing materials.
- Customer Operations assistance:
- The product owner is the specialist and go-to (third line) support. Assistance can be given to support engineers on client requests (tickets).
What you will bring:
- >2 years work experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS environment for B2B software.
- Understanding of trading markets, preferably commodity-focused.
- Software development experience or knowledge in T-SQL.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product management best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate high-level business requirements into detailed user stories.
- Experience with user-centric design principles and usability testing.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
